Jorge Sida-Valdez
Originally from Chiapas, Mexico, Jorge Sida-Valdez discovered his passion for storytelling at an early age, creating his first animations by hand before transitioning into live-action filmmaking. After moving to the suburbs of Chicago, he began filming and editing everyday moments, a curiosity that led him to earn a B.A. in Cinema Production and Studies from Southern Illinois University. There, he worked as a videographer and photojournalist while directing his award-winning short film A Cappuccino, Two Sugars.
Now based in Los Angeles, Jorge works through SeedaPictures, capturing genuine, cinematic moments for individuals, events, and growing brands. His experience includes work across film, television, and digital productions with companies such as The Walt Disney Company, Marvel Studios, Netflix, and Paramount—bringing a professional, story-driven approach to every project, no matter the scale.
